Lizzy and Ryan’s Wedding at Stinson Beach in Marin

Lizzy and Ryan put on a super fun wedding at Stinson Beach with a reception at the Stinson Beach Community Center. When the trolley driver decided to take his girlfriend out to lunch in Mill Valley instead of shuttling guests from the ceremony site (Lizzie’s family’s beach house) to the reception site in Stinson Beach, Lizzie and Ryan took it in stride.

After the wedding, Lizzie wrote to the trolley company. “It was the happy dose of chaos I think every wedding needs, that it started the party early with group beach walks to the reception, and crowd-sourced rides in the back of pick-ups, and in a stranger’s donated van. PLUS, it resulted in Ryan and me walking through town during the siren, and feeling like we were Mayors of Stinson. It was awesome. It is my favorite part of the wedding, and the first story I tell,” she wrote. What a great way to turn what could have been a major source of stress into a positive story.
