Sweet Temescal Beach House Wedding in Oakland

Norma lost her husband, and Henry his wife—but through the marvels of modern-day technology (thank you, JDate.com), they found each other and fell in love again. Their sweet, intimate ceremony at the Temescal Beach House in Oakland was filled with warmth, laughter, and deep emotion.

It wasn’t just a celebration of new beginnings—it was also a tribute to the lives and love they had shared before. In a beautiful act of remembrance, they were married beneath a chuppah Norma had made by hand, using fabric from her late husband’s clothing and adorned with jewelry that had belonged to Henry’s late wife. It was deeply personal and utterly moving—a visual reminder that love endures and transforms.

As they laughed, cried, and celebrated surrounded by their closest people, it felt like more than just a wedding. It felt like healing—two people opening their hearts again, honoring the past while stepping into something new, together.
