Mitchell’s Meadow in Truckee is a cool spot for a wedding. It is out there, but having a wedding out in the woods, far away from the city, means you can party late! Vanessa and Marcela partied hard and late at their delightful Mitchell’s Meadow wedding.

V and M are two of the most delightful people you will encounter. They are enthusiastic, warm, and have a love for life that is contagious. To shoot this wedding, I came directly from a 10-day camping trip. V and M’s wedding was a perfect transition back for me. The bus ride to the venue in the converted school bus was a blast. I was so surprised to see a friend who lives a couple of miles from me in Oakland slinging drinks at the wedding from his super sweet custom bar trailer (Clubhouse Caravan). S’mores, campfire, stars, and great music kept the party going late and the dance floor packed. Congrats, V and M – you two are amazing.
