SF City Hall Wedding – Slanted Door Reception
Hannah and Jared’s had an awesome SF City Hall wedding, and reception at the Slanted Door. They wanted to keep things small. Originally, they were going to slip over to City Hall alone to tie the knot. Family found out, and one thing led to another. They put a cap on things. Uncles were banned, and there was joking during the day about relatives dressed as bushes to sneak a peak. But as they wished, it was immediate family only.
It was great seeing other couples getting married at City Hall while Hannah and Jared were doing their ceremony. One couldn’t help but feel real sense of community. After the amazing simple brief ceremony, we found a little spot and took family pictures. The lighting in City Hall made for some awesome photography.
After the ceremony we all hopped on a trolly car and headed to the Ferry Building where Hannah, Jared and family had reservations at the Slanted Door. We stepped away to do pictures of the bride and groom and while we were photographing, we bumped into a friend of theirs who was waiting to meet a craigslister to sell her bike to. It was fun to be reminded of just how small the City is. What an awesome City Hall wedding, and wonderful day.
