Saline Valley Thanksgiving 2008

I just returned from a wonderful week long vacation in Saline Valley for Thanksgiving 2008. I spent much time soaking in hot water, eating great food, listening to music, and having great conversations. It rained off and on for about a day and a half before Thanksgiving. Thankfully the rain let up the day before Thanksgiving and the overcast skies gave way to the sun. About 150 to 200 people who showed up for the Thanksgiving potluck. The nights were dark and full of stars. The crescent moon was just visible as the sun set over the Inyo mountains. Sunsets and sunrises are always wonderful. Saline Valley Thanksgiving 2008 was a good one.
