Pre Baby Trip to Italy

Loretta is pregnant with our first baby, and before things get too crazy with being parents, we decided to go on a pre baby trip to Italy. We came up with a rough plan before leaving. I went to school in Bologna for a year when I was in university and wanted to show Loretta my old haunts. We flew into Bologna and then took a train to Rome. We stayed with my mother’s college friend, Todd, outside of Rome. After much discussion, we decided to take a little trip to Morocco (not Egypt). After Morocco, we returned to Rome to hang with my close friend, Beatrice, for a couple days.

Our luggage got lost on our flight into Italy, but that was a minor hiccup. Italy is great. We had such a good time there. I have a special place in my heart for that country. So many good memories there. While we were in Bologna, we stopped off at a very cool pipe shop that I often passed by when I was in University.
