Classy Wedding at the Pelican Inn

A Classy Summer Wedding at the Pelican Inn
The Pelican Inn in Marin is a romantic, rustic little wedding venue. It is an English pub that was disassembled, shipped over to the US, and reassembled less than a mile from Muir Beach. The Pelican Inn hosts other events besides weddings. Actually, they are an Inn most of the time. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekends. If you want a pint of ale, they also have a bar. I used to go to Muir Beach with my family and stop off at the Pelican Inn for snacks and tea afterward. There are several rooms upstairs. It is really a very sweet spot.
O and C’s wedding day was filled with sweet little personal touches. O wore her mother’s wedding dress, and C’s father made the arch that they were married under. They drove his father’s 1959 GMC truck to the beach after the ceremony. C had special pralines shipped from New Orleans as party gifts. O wore cute flats, which made hiking the hill across the street from the Pelican Inn doable. This August Pelican Inn wedding was super sweet.
