Trivia, Dancing, and Unmasked Revelry at the Barn at River House in Ben Lomond

Trivia, dancing, and unmasked revelry ruled the day at Kinsey and Memo’s cool barn wedding. Surrounded by friends and family, they got married at the Barn at River House in Ben Lomond. Dogwoods were blooming everywhere around this beautiful property. After a year of postponed events, and cautious gatherings, it was nice to be surrounded by a group of fully vaccinated adults partying together responsibly. Masks were off and love was on.

Getting Ready

Kinsey and Memo both got ready on the property. Kinsey and several friends and family members got ready in a little cottage. She sported a well-loved pair of cowboy boots. Memo dressed in the main house. His dad tied his tie for him while family played pool and the Kentucky Derby showed on TV.

First Look and Family Pics

Since they decided to do their ceremony on the main lawn, we did their first look in the redwood grove. After first look, we went over to the barn for quick family pictures.

Ceremony

They had the ceremony on the main lawn at The River House in front of a wooden gazebo. We did a picture of everyone at the wedding directly after the ceremony.

Reception and Couple Pics

After cocktail hour, folks moved inside the barn for some hardcore trivia. The winning team got to eat first. High stakes for sure. And the questions were not easy. After dinner, I took Kinsey and Memo for a quick walk around the property for some pics before returning to the barn for some good old dancing.

Dancing and Sparklers

After our walk about the property, we heading back to the relative warmth of the barn. With our lungs full of fresh air and our bellies full of good food, we re-entered the party ready for some dancing. Kinsey and Memo’s friend acted as DJ, choosing music off his phone. This can sometimes be a relative disaster, but it went off without a hitch, and folks kept the dance floor bumping to the end. After the last song, folks sent Kinsey and Memo off in a shower of sparklers.
