A Beautiful Wedding at The Sequoia in the Santa Cruz Mountains

What a beautiful wedding at The Sequoia! Formerly, the Sequoia Retreat Center, The Sequoia is a hidden gem tucked away in the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains, technically in the little town of Ben Lomond. The property has a rustic, woodsy feel that makes it perfect for anyone who wants a wedding surrounded by towering trees and fresh mountain air. There are cozy cabins on site where some of your guests can stay, which makes it easy to turn a wedding into a weekend getaway. The grounds are steep and hilly in spots, so make sure to advise your guests to wear appropriate shoes for the terrain.

Laurel and Sky hosted a sweet, relaxed, multi-day celebration here, and it was everything you’d hope for in a redwood wedding. Their friends and family gathered, laughed, and celebrated in a way that felt laid-back yet full of joy. It was the kind of event where you could slow down, breathe in the forest air, and just enjoy the beauty of the place and the people. Honestly, it was awesome.
