Sweet Deaf Wedding at Villa Montalvo
Pamela and Jimmy are deaf, and they had a super sweet wedding at Villa Montalvo. Pamela hearing is partially impaired and Jimmy’s is totally deaf. It was a fun challenge communicating with them and their friends. I had to make sure to face people when I was talking to them. The skills I learned in Italy, talking with my hands, came in very handy. Their wedding was so much fun.
Villa Montalvo is a cool venue. Montalvo Arts Center has an artist residency program and has frequent live shows at the theater on the property. The expansive lawn, well manicured gardens, and mature trees, along with the cool architecture and rotating art installations make this place a real gem.
Pamela and Jimmy had their reception at the Plumed Horse. Instead of clapping, guests would spin their napkins over their heads. What a great wedding. Congrats Pamela and Jimmy.
I ♥ this wedding.

I absolutely adore the photos of the wedding ceremony/reception. It really portrays the beauty and the love of both Pamela and Jimmy have for each other.
