A Sweltering Hot Hacienda de las Flores Wedding in Moraga

A hot Hacienda de las Flores wedding is on the menu today. From one weekend to the next, the temperature in the Bay Area changed by a good 50 degrees. Last weekend I was freezing, this weekend sweating bullets. Hacienda de las Flores is a great, affordably priced venue run by the Moraga Parks and Recreation Department. It is easy to get to, and offers wooded landscapes as well as manicured lawns. There are also two buildings that you can utilize. Additionally, there is onsite parking and easy shuttle access.

Undaunted by the heat, Rachel and Jon put together a wonderful DIY wedding in 100-plus degree weather. Temporary tattoos, hand-stamped gift bags, a super fun raffle, corn hole, bubbles, ice cream sandwiches, tons of kids, a mariachi band, and a whole lot of fun made this such a great celebration of love. Congrats to these two rock climbing lovers.
