A Wind and Sea Wedding in Big Sur on the California Coast

Here is a small set of details from this intimate wedding at the Wind and Sea wedding in Big Sur. Wind and Sea is a stunning venue right on the California Coast. You are a stone’s throw from the Pacific. A stone staircase brings you to a small ceremony space overlooking the ocean. Below the main house. The house itself has lots of exposed redwood and high ceilings. It has huge windows that look out onto the water. There is a sauna built into the hillside. This venue is breathtaking.

The day of the wedding was rainy. It poured in the morning. I kept an eye on the sky and hoped for a break in the weather. By noon, the rain had let up and given way to drizzles and lots of beautiful sky. It can be tough on people when it rains on their wedding day, but I have to admit that I love it. Rainy days can be so stunning.

This day was no exception. Alison Events did a fantastic job coordinating, and Il Cane Rosso provided scrumptious culinary delights. The flowers were rad and done by Natalie Bowen Designs.
