Low key and awesome – Jaime and Bates spent the night before their wedding with a small group of friends at the Montara Point Lighthouse Hostel. They did their wedding prep at the hostel before the ceremony. International travelers and wedding prep is a strangely nice mix. After family pics at Pigeon Point, Jaime and Bates jumped into my car and we stopped off at Devil’s Slide for a few pictures before heading to Pacifica. They had an afternoon ceremony on a far corner of the beach in Pacifica and their reception was at the Historic Pedro Point Firehouse. Jaime’s brother made the food for the wedding. There was a selection of pies for desert. This homespun wedding was a lot of fun. Proof that you don’t need to drop a ton of cash to have a wonderful wedding celebration. Thanks Jaime and Bates for being so easy going and open to adventure.
